- Lawn Mowing:
- Includes actual mowing of the lawn, weed trimming around the edges of the lawn, and cleanup of any grass clippings on the lawn or sidewalk. We use both larger mowers for the wide open areas of your lawn, and smaller push mowers to get at those harder to reach areas. TJ's only takes customers for weekly lawn mowing, we do not do bi-weekly mowing.
- Sidewalk Edging:
- Edging of the lawn around all cement sidewalk and driveway edges. Get that razor sharp edge for your lawn that your neighbor spends all day Saturday perfecting, and spend your weekends the way you want to. Street curb edging also availiable. - Core Aeration: (click here for more details)
- Using our Aerator, we loosen the soil under your lawn, allowing for better nutrient and organic matter penetration. It also improves water absorption, and gives the roots of your lawn room to grow. Best done in the spring or fall of the year.
- Dethatching: (click here for more details)
- Using a power rake, we pull up all the dead grass thatch buildup at the soil level of the lawn that chokes the growth of your grass. Pulling the thatch up allows the lawn room to grow and reseed itself. Best done in the spring or early fall of the year, and most effective when accompanied by seeding. Also very effective in the fall for pulling out dying weeds in your lawn.
- Seeding:
- Seeding your lawn. Frequent seeding helps to repair dead spots and holes in your lawn, replace weeds, and thickens the grass. When coupled with Dethatching or Aeration, Seeding can virtually remake your yard without having to tear it up and start all over again!
- Fall Leaf Cleanup:
- Got a ton of leaves to pickup and no time to do it? Hire us to clean up your leaves and enjoy your fall. No more suffering through the cold, wet, miserable weather of fall, struggling with the thousands of leaves littering your lawn. Leaf cleanup is coordinated to coincide with your street pick up dates.
- Spring Cleanup:
- A spring cleaning of your yard. Clear up all the leaves left from the fall, and the winter's deposit of debris. Limited availability, so sign up early!
- Snow Clearing
- TJ's Winter Service. Snow clearing is done after the snowfall has stopped, and is done using snow throwers, not plows. We have found that snow throwers work better for residential driveways and sidewalks, and don't do the damage to your yard and pavement that larger snowplows sometimes do. Service will start at a minimum snowfall of 1 inch. Salting is included in the price. The service does not cover ice storms. Snow clearing is not an on-call service, and will be done after the storm has stopped.
